On March 24, 2018, I took a break from training with Team-in-Training LA Cycle team and headed down to Houston, TX to ride with Manpreet Kaur in an event called Just Ride for a Just Cause in Simonton, TX. The ride supported and raised awareness about the issue of human and sex trafficking in Texas.
It was a flat 40-mile ride through a rural area, but we had a “fun” time fighting headwinds on the return parts of the two loops.
