The ride is ridden and the funds are raised! On June 5, I rode 100 miles to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and you all helped by donating to most ever to support me in this event.
My mom and unofficial publicist contacted Jus Punjabi TV about last week’s bike ride for No Kid Hungry, and Aashmeeta, host of “The Good News Show”, graciously invited me to come on her program to talk about the bike ride, cycling for seva (and what’s next), Sikh participation and representation in sports and other things. On February 16, 2019, I joined Team-in-Training LA Cycle Team for Week 2 of training for America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride in June to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This week’s ride started at the Los Angeles Zoo and took us through Burbank and Glendale, and up to the Griffith Observatory to magnificent views of the Hollywood sign and Los Angeles.
