2017 was my second year training for America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I was in Sacramento during Week 6 of training and so wasn’t able ride with the Team-in-Training LA Cycle team. This week’s training called for a 50 mile ride and so I did about two loops on the American River Bike Trail from Nimbus Hatchery to Beal’s Point, around Folsom Prison and back. I kept my mind occupied by recording a video.
The benefit of doing two laps was that I had two opportunities to find and record a shot during the ride. I’m still cutting my teeth at making videos, but like cycling training, I hope to learn and get better each time.
