On September 10, I’ll be cycling in the RBC Gran Fondo in Vancouver, BC, Canada to once again raise funds for the Riaan Research Initiative to find treatments for Cockayne Syndrome. This #ride4riaan is a 70 mile route from Vancouver to Whistler and it’ll involve the most climbing I’ve ever done. To help save Riaan and other kids like him, please support my ride today with a donation.

Thank you for supporting my ride for LLS
The ride is ridden and the funds are raised! On June 5, I rode 100 miles to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and you all helped by donating to most ever to support me in this event.
Riaan has one chance at life. Let’s give him that chance.
In March of this year, little Riaan was diagnosed with having Cockayne Syndrome, a very rare genetic disease for which there is no cure (yet). Kids who are diagnosed don’t have very long to live. I’m riding to raise funds for the research that will give Riaan and kids like him a chance at life.
Thank you for supporting me in 2020!
I don’t want to belabor too much talking about the challenging year we just had, but on that unspoken backdrop, I want to extend my gratitude to each of you who supported my rides for charity during 2020. Over its twelve months, you not only contributed over $5,425 to a variety of charities, you also inspired a year’s worth of hope. Thank you!
VIDEO: Cycling the Sacramento Farmers Protest
Last week, I biked over to the California State Capitol in Sacramento to join a protest to support farmers in India. People came to the Capitol from all over Northern California in a show of support, solidarity, and to let the Indian government know that the world is watching.
