I’m returning to Lake Tahoe for the fifth time to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
Thank you for considering a donation to help me raise funds for blood cancer patients by way of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I’m training to once again ride in America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride — a 100-mile route around Lake Tahoe, CA in June — for this cause. I really appreciate your support.
This year’s ride will be my fifth consecutive year riding in this event. Over the last four events, I have cycled with LLS’s Team-in-Training (TNT) chapters. I’ve ridden three times with the Los Angeles cycle team, and last year I rode with the Greater Sacramento cycle team. Over all these years, you supported me with over $12,600 for this cause!
This year, I want to bring that all-time total to over $17,000. To reach this all-time goal, I need to raise $5,000 by June when I take the start line at Lake Tahoe.
I’m returning with the Greater Sacramento TNT team this year for this ride and I’ve been dedicating at least three days each week to train until June. I’m blessed to be able to give this time and energy because I’ve experienced how important this support is for those impacted by blood cancer. Not only do your donations fund groundbreaking research (that literally has kept people alive) they also fund support services for patients and families. Just as important, those fighting blood cancer also see that there are people out there who care and are trying to help them in their fight.
Your generosity to support this cause makes all the training really meaningful. It’s what inspires me through the tough moments during training and is what really thrills me when I cross the finish line. Thank you for your support!
