The ride is ridden and the funds are raised! On June 5, I rode 100 miles to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and you all helped by donating to most ever to support me in this event.
Last week, I biked over to the California State Capitol in Sacramento to join a protest to support farmers in India. People came to the Capitol from all over Northern California in a show of support, solidarity, and to let the Indian government know that the world is watching.
Thanks to all who supported my 107-mile ride from Sacramento to San Francisco for No Kid Hungry! I learned that it’s true what they say about riding a bike, and more important, we raised $2,182 to help get food to kids in these difficult times.
To raise funds for No Kid Hungry, I’m pledging to ride my bike over 100 miles from Sacramento’s Tower Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on Saturday, October 10. This isn’t a formal event but a personal, self-supported initiative.
This year, I’m returning to America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride — a 100-mile route around Lake Tahoe, CA in June — for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I want to bring my all-time funds raised to over $10K and would appreciate your support!
