There’s a day for everything. And, we hope that cancer too, will soon have had its day.

Monday, February 4 is World Cancer Day. It’s also, coincidentally, the day of our Team-in-Training LA Cycling Team’s information session in Santa Monica. If you are new or less than new to cycling, you can find out how riding 100 miles around Lake Tahoe, CA in June can help in the fight against blood cancer by raising funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The social mixer will be hosted at Helen’s Cycles in Santa Monica and will include food, refreshments and a clothing and equipment clinic by Coach Gregg Ritchie. Helen’s Cycles is also offering a 15% discount to attendees:
