Since 2014, $81,903 has been raised for charitable causes. See my previous charity rides here.

Completed! In 2025, I returned to the Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century to finish the ride I couldn’t last year. It was meaningful in more ways than I thought. We raised over $10,000 for the Riaan Research Initiative, completing a one-year journey to honor my promise.

Completed! In October, I took on the Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century for my fourth annual #ride4Riaan. This was the biggest cycling challenge I ever attempted. We raised almost $15,000 for the Riaan Research Initiative — the most ever for any single event!

Completed! I cycled 100 miles around Lake Tahoe, CA in June, and we raised over $5,500 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and patients with blood cancers. It was the most ever for this charity and my fastest time around the lake. Thank you!
A final update on this year’s #Ride4Riaan: finishing the Bass Lake Double Century, sharing the total raised, honoring donors, and reflecting on what this season meant. Grateful for every mile and every supporter.
On October 12, I faced the Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century, a challenging 200-mile bike ride raising nearly $15,000 for the Riaan Research Initiative, supporting families affected by Cockayne syndrome. Though I couldn’t complete the full distance, the journey highlighted community support and our shared mission to make a difference.
A big thanks to EVERYONE who supported my 100-mile bike ride around Lake Tahoe on June 2nd! You helped me raise $5,519 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma… Read more “Thank you for helping to fight blood cancers in 2024!”
